Stacey Lewis is a watercolorist and photographer based in Scottsville, Virginia, where she has lived her entire life. Rooted in the central Virginia landscape, her work reflects a close attention to seasonal change, memory, and the details of the natural world. She is especially drawn to trees, riverbanks, and skyscapes—subjects that appear often in her paintings and photographs.
Stacey works primarily in watercolor, using both direct observation and memory to explore themes of place, light, and time. Whether hiking local trails, floating the James River, or observing the changing sky from her backyard, she returns to the same scenes again and again to share their rich stories. Her work has been exhibited locally and nationally, and can be found in private collections across the country.
