Reconciliation

“Now return to the LORD YOUR God, for He is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger, abounding in loving kindness and relenting of evil.” – Joel 2:13

“Those who approach the sacrament of Penance obtain pardon from God’s mercy for the offense committed against him, and are, at the same time, reconciled with the Church which they have wounded by their sins and which by charity, by example, and by prayer labors for their conversion.” (Catechism of the Catholic Church, 1422)

Reconciliation is regularly scheduled each Saturday before Mass.  It can also be scheduled by contacting the office and making an appointment with the Pastor.

First Reconciliation, for children preparing to receive First Holy Communion requires the child to demonstrate a readiness and understanding of the sacrament.   It is expected for parents to be actively involved in preparing their child for First Reconciliation and determining readiness.
