Blessing Bags: After worship on Sunday, March 1st, we will be assembling Bless Bags for the unhoused. The Mission & Outreach Committee has purchased items for the bags, but welcomes financial donations to offset the cost. Please help us put these bags together and take one or two with you to bless someone in need that you may encounter.
Olive Crest: We will be accepting donations of beach themed Easter Baskets for the middle school and high school kiddos that live at Olive Crest. Please see the details in THIS FLYER. All baskets are due to the church by March 15th. Be sure to label your basket with the appropriate age group: Middle School or High School.

This PCUSA special offering provides assistance to current and retired church workers and their families in their time of need and also assists in the development of our future leaders at Presbyterian-related schools and colleges equipping communities of color.
SUMMER 2025:
PENTECOST OFFERING- During worship on June 8th, we celebrated Pentecost, the birth of the Church. We had special decorations, music and received the Pentecost Offering. This offering is used to nurture the faith of children, youth, and young adults and to support at-risk children, youth and young adults in our community and the world. We collected $1,140 for this offering with 40% of this offering being donated locally to Galilee Center.
COACHELLA VALLEY VOLUNTEERS IN MEDICINE - We donated $500 worth of gift cards for gas stations. These cards will be passed on to patients who have limited household incomes and experience many barriers to accessing healthcare. One of the most significant barriers is gas money to travel to appointments with their medical provider, or to complete laboratory tests or imaging services for their medical care. Many of their patients live 20 miles or more from our Indio or Palm Springs clinic, and oftentimes, it's a question of putting gas in the car or food on the table. Thank you for your donations which have been passed on to the CVVM.
ST. JOHN'S ESPICOPAL- We collected protein food items for the food distribution that takes place at St. John's Episcopal Church in Indio.
MARCH & APRIL 2025 :
ONE GREAT HOUR OF SHARING – Thank you for your generous support of this PCUSA offering. We collected $2,016 to be shared with our denominational partners in ministry. We rejoice in how the Lord is using our church to further His kingdom!
SAFE HOUSE OF THE DESERT - We delivered donations of cleaning supplies, paper goods and kitchen items for use by young adults in the apartments.
THE NARROW DOOR - On the morning of Saturday, March 15th a group of eight volunteers helped to pack food boxes at The Narrow Door in Indio.
JANUARY/FEBRUARY 2025:
PRESBYTERIAN DISASTER ASSISTANCE - Thank you for your generous donations to PDA that will go towards helping those affected by the fires in the Los Angeles area. We collected $3,260.
BLESSING BAG ASSEMBLY- The Mission & Outreach Committee & congregants met on 2/16/25 after worship to assemble Blessing Bags for unhoused people in the Coachella Valley.
CAR SEATS: We donated $600 to the Coachella Valley Rescue Mission for the purchase of infant & child car seats.
We gifted cash and cards to Volunteers in Medicine. These will be provided to patients to help pay for gas so that they can travel to where the doctors are located.
