JOIN US FOR MAUNDY THURSDAY SERVICE AT 7 P.M. AND EASTER SUNDAY SERVICE AT 9:30 A.M.
MAUNDY THURSDAY - April 2nd at 7pm will be a reflective time of remembrance with a traditional Tenebrae service. We’ll sing familiar hymns, the Chancel Choir will perform, and Joshua Witte will play the cello. Communion will be offered at the front of the Sanctuary. Consider joining us for this time of reflection on the Lord’s great sacrifice for us.
EASTER SUNDAY - April 5th at 9:30am will be a celebration of the Resurrection of our Lord! The Bell Choir will begin the celebration, followed by worship with
hymns, a Choir Anthem, prayers, and a message of Christ’s good news of love, with Communion celebrated. Please bring a blooming flower to add to our “Flowering Cross.” Feel free to bring a friend to share our joy. Stay for coffee, hot cross buns and cookie fellowship after worship.
CHRISTIAN EDUCATION SCHOLARSHIPS - St. Andrew has scholarships available for local Presbyterian Church (USA) members who want to attend a four-year college, retrain, enroll in a certificate program, or go to graduate school. To apply for the 2026-2027 year, write a letter of application giving your current accomplishments, your involvement in the church and community as a volunteer or employee, your financial need, and your plan of study for next year, including the institution, the course of study and goals. Email the letter to standrewindio@gmail.com to the attention of the Christian Education Committee, Scholarships. The application deadline is April 29, 2026.
ONGOING COLLECT FOR ST. JOHN'S EPISCOPAL CHURCH: We will continue monthly to collect protein items for St. John's Episcopal Church's community food distribution program. The collection box will remain in the Narthex for your donations of canned meats, beans and peanut butter, and the committee will bring the donations we receive to St. John. If you would like the help with packing food for the St. John’s Episcopal Church Ministry, this happens on the fourth Thursday of every month from 1-3 pm, at 45319 Deglet Noor St, Indio. Thank you for helping our neighbors.
ZELLE DONATION OPTION -We now take donations through ZELLE! This is an instant bank to bank transfer of money initiated by you. There are no fees associated with this type of donation. If you chose this, please do so using our finance email address: standrewfinance1@gmail.com. You are still welcome to make donations by check, cash, Bill Pay or through our online VANCO platform. Please know that VANCO takes 2% of every donation. We thank you for your continued support of God's work here at St. Andrew.
DONATIONS TO OUR CHURCH: The Bank of America has a new policy stating that all checks must be made out to our correct business name. When making a donation to our church in the form of a check, you must now write: St. Andrew Community Presbyterian Church. No abbreviations or other forms of our name will be allowed. To avoid this, we recommend that you make donations through Zelle using our finance email: standrewfinance1@gmail.com. You could also set up Bill Pay through your bank but be sure to use the full name of the church as seen above. Vanco is another option, but keep in mind that Vanco removes 2% of every donation before we receive it. Thank you for your understanding.
DID YOU KNOW WE HAVE ASSISTED LISTENING DEVICES? – Assisted listening devices are available to help in Worship. Joe Hamner has them at the back table if you would like to use a set.
