Christian Education

NEW ADULT C.E. CLASSES FOR OCTOBER -  CE is offering education with video and discussion entitled, “ The Bible With and Without Jesus” by well-known New Testament Scholar Dr. Amy-Jill Levine. She explores the most popular Hebrew Bible passages quoted in the New Testament to show what the texts meant in their original contexts, and then how Jews and Christians, over time, understood those same texts. Topics include the creation of the world, the role of Adam and Eve, the Suffering Servant of Isaiah, the book of Jonah, and Psalm 22, whose words, “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me,” Jesus quotes as he dies on the cross. Join us Sundays after worship on Oct 4, 11, and 18 as Sue Steding, Ken Zanca and Pastor Julie lead the video, and lively conversation! We meet right after coffee and fellowship behind the Sanctuary.

PAST BIBLE STUDY PROGRAMS:

WOMEN'S BIBLE STUDY - A women's Bible study based on the Beth Moore series, "The Surpassing Value of Knowing Christ," will take place February 4th through March 4th.  Please call the church office for more details.
