St Vincent de Paul

Meet on the first Tuesday of the month.

We discuss and raise funds to provide assistance to the vulnerable and needy in the local community.

Meet every Thursday between 12.00 and 2.00pm.  Light refreshments provided and a range of activities, e.g. Excercise, Line Dancing, Quizzes, various card games etc.

Guild of St. Stephen

There is a flourishing tradition of Altar Serving in the Parish.  Several young people from each age group join the guild; their witness spreads to their whole families.

S.A.C (St. Ambrose Concern)

A Justice and Peace Group which meets monthly, concentrating on supporting developing countries through prayer, donations and the support of missionaries and volunteers.  Funds are sent regularly to organisations such as CAFOD, the Romania Orphanage Appeal and the Society of African Missions.

Folk Group

Provides music at 10am Mass once every 3-4 weeks. 

 

Instruments at present include guitars,  flutes, mandolin, bazouki, keyboard and of course singers.


Practices very informal, about once a month on a week night.
