The “Project AKBAYAN: Alay ng Kabataan, Para sa Diwa ng Tunay na Bayanihan” is a project for the Brigada Eskwela 2025 in Labas Senior High School with the objective to enhance the cleanliness, creativity, and also show the unwavering teamwork of each student in preparation for the upcoming school year. Another aim for this project is for us, the SSLG, to gather funds that will be used throughout the whole term, which will help our vision for the school to come true. This initiative recognizes that students can interact with one another and help without any reward in exchange for a better school.
Labas Senior High School, through the Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG), is launching “Salubong Labasians 2025” to welcome and engage students at the start of the school year. The project aims to build a sense of community, encourage student empowerment, and promote involvement in school life. Guided by DepEd’s mission of learner-centered governance and the values of inclusivity, collaboration, and participation, the event will feature interactive booths, performances, and activities that help students explore clubs and organizations, discover their interests, and develop confidence as service-oriented learners.
The SSLG Special Election 2025: Electing the Next Grade 11 Representative is an activity created to fill the open Grade 11 Representative seat in the SSLG Officers. This election highlights the importance of student voice and participation by giving Grade 11 learners the chance to select their own representative. It also aims to strengthen democratic values in school leadership, allowing students to practice their right to vote and be involved in decision-making. The main objective of this initiative is to carry out a fair, transparent, and inclusive election process where Grade 11 students of Labas Senior High School can officially choose their representative to the Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG).
At Labas Senior High School, through the Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG), conducted “To Teach and Reach, We Celebrate Each: A Teacher’s Day Celebration” to express appreciation and gratitude to teachers and highlight their vital role in students’ personal and academic growth. The celebration featured the Student–Teacher Counterpart, Classroom-Based Celebration, and an appreciation Wall that allowed learners to honor their teachers in creative and meaningful ways. The event achieved 80% participation, engaging 925 out of 1,156 members of the school community, including both teaching and non-teaching personnel.
