The College Transfer Pathway is for students who know they would like to go to a 4-year university after finishing their community college requirements. This pathway allows them to take college courses that will make the transition into a 4-year university within the University of North Carolina System* much smoother. Career & Technical Education programs can also be called trade school or vocational school programs. These programs allow students access to specialized training in a specific field of industry that will prepare them for competitive work-force positions and opportunities after finishing their community college requirements.
These industries include manufacturing, healthcare, and cosmetology, to name a few! Click here to learn more about CTE Programs offered in NC Community Colleges.
