(October 31st)

Halloween has origins in the ancient Celtic festival of Samhain. People dress in costumes, carve pumpkins, and go trick-or-treating.

The largest recorded pumpkin ever grown weighed over 2,600 pounds. Fun fact: The holiday's name comes from "All Hallows’ Eve."
