(June 14th)

Flag Day marks the adoption of the U.S. flag in 1777. It’s a day to honor the Stars and Stripes and reflect on national unity.

Pennsylvania is the only state that observes Flag Day as a state holiday. Fun fact: The flag’s original design had 13 stars arranged in a circle, representing the first 13 states.
