Announcements and Upcoming Events

1.) Canoeing Event on the Bogue Falaya:

• Saturday, September 6th 2025.  

• We will meet at 8 a.m. and end at 12 p.m. 

• The Cost is $35 per Scout

2.) Popcorn Show and Sell:

• Saturday, August 23rd from 12 p.m. - 4 p.m.  

• We will be selling simultaneously at the following location's: 

  • • Breaux Mart located on Jefferson Highway in River Ridge

    • Winn Dixie located on Jefferson Highway in River Ridge

    • Sam's Club located on Airline Drive.

• Sunday, August 24th located at P.J.'s Coffee on Jefferson Highway in River Ridge.  Time T.B.D.

3.) Collection for St. Rita Food pantry:  

• Bag drop off on Wednesday October 29th at 6:30 p.m. in the Imperials Woods Subdivision. 

• Bag Pickup and food sorting on Saturday, November 1st at the St. Rita food pantry.

4.) Grand Isle Troop campout: 

• Friday, November 21st through Sunday November 23rd.  

5.) Winter Camp at Salmen Scout Reservation Camp V-Bar:  

• Saturday, December 27th through Wednesday, December 31st.  

• We will be departing camp to head back home no later than 10 a.m. on December 31st.
