The College Library has been playing a very significant role in the educational process and it is the heart of the institution. The library is the storehouse of knowledge that helps achieve the objectives of education, conservation of knowledge and ideas as well as teaching and research programmes. College Library performs a variety of functions by the way of collecting information, processing, retrieving the relevant information and providing it to the users. The library also helps the students and faculty with text books, reference books, magazines and journals and also e-resources with respect to all subject areas.

​The college library was setup in 1937 with 2650 books. Today it has grown to over 58,796 books with addition of e-resources as well. The growth of the library collections has been in tune with the growing needs of institution.

​The Library is divided into different sections - Text Book Section, Circulation Section, Internet Section, E-Resources Section and Brar Vision - E-Resources Section for the Visually Challenged, A separate Reading Room facility is also available housing Reference Section and Periodical Section including six Newspapers and 26 Magazines. It is open for general public also. 

To supplement the existing resources in the library, the library website is being used as a platform to provide open access resources through the E-Resources webpage. Access is provided to fully downloadable e-books, e-journals, audio books, theses, rare books, manuscripts, e-learning content, etc. for the benefit of the users.
