Library facilities for Visually Challenged Students
Brar Vision is established in the name of the founder of Jyothirgamaya Foundation, Tiffany Brar, an Indian community service worker who became blind as an infant due to oxygen toxicity. Currently she is changing and lighting up the lives of other visually impaired people like her to see the world.
Library in association with Sri. M. Padhmanabham, Lecturer, Department of Public Administration has been providing study material in audio format so as to enable the visually challenged students to prepare well for the Semester-end Examinations.

Visually challenged students can download these talking books from the Library Website apart from the e-Books, e-Journals and other e-knowledge content available in the website.
Library has been constantly and consistently striving to provide audio study materials and equipment to the visually challenged students from different sources also. Library is successful in helping the visually challenged students in getting Screen Reader-enabled Laptops at free of cost through Andhra Pradesh State Differently Abled and Senior Citizens Assistance Corporation (APSDASCAC).
Library is also providing Reference and Referral Service to visually challenged and differently abled students by directing and helping them to browse and download e-Books and audio-Books from the specialized web portals such as Book Share, Sugamya Pusthakaalaya and Vision through Ears.
Separate study cabins equipped with screen-reader computer systems and ear phones/ head phones have been provided to the visually challenged students.
5G Spectrum Wi-Fi has been provided especially for the visually challenged students to enable them to use their personal Screen-Reader-enabled Laptops in the Library to access various study materials, question papers, journals, magazines and other e-content that help for their overall development.
Reading Room is connected with Ramp to provide easy access to Differently Abled students, staff and public.
Visually Challenged students are provided with Library Extended hours / Out of the College Timings to enable them to access reading material from Library through LAN facility also.
Separate quiz & debate competitions have been conducted for visually challenged students to empower them by encouraging to participate in various programmes conducted on different national and state level occasions.
In order to boost up confidence and inner strength among differently abled students, the College and Library has been inviting visually challenged / differently abled guest lecturers and eminent personalities to share their expertise with student community.
