V-VIBE 2025, a vibrant Student Club Festival of Vinayaka Missions Research Foundation (Deemed to be University), was successfully conducted at Aarupadai Veedu Medical College, Puducherry campus. The event served as an intercollegiate student activity platform, bringing together students from 5 constituent colleges of the institution to celebrate talent, creativity, and campus camaraderie.
Event Overview
The Student Club Festival "V-VIBE 2025 – Puducherry Edition" was held at the Ganesan Learning Centre with a comprehensive schedule spanning from 9:00 AM to 1:30 PM, with outdoor activities continuing until 4:00 PM.
Inaugural Session
The event commenced with a formal inaugural ceremony featuring:

3. Follow the Dance Steps - A participatory dance activity promoting joy and movement
4. Whisper Challenge - A classic game of communication and fun
Outdoor Activities and Traditional Games
Beyond indoor events, the festival offered engaging outdoor attractions:
• Balloon Shoot Game (Free participation)
• Bullock Cart Rides (Traditional experience)
• 90s Games (Nostalgic recreational activities)
These activities promoted student bonding, nostalgia, and non-digital recreational engagement.

Conclusion
V-VIBE 2025 was a resounding success, demonstrating the rich talent pool and organizational capability of AVMC students. The participation of 5 colleges, diverse cultural performances, interactive games, outdoor activities, and formal valedictory created a memorable experience for all attendees. The event began at 3 PM with seniors enthusiastically welcoming around 60 freshers, referring to them as Ravencores, Slytherine, and Gryffindor, inspired by a fun house-based theme. The auditorium was decorated beautifully, creating an energetic and cheerful atmosphere as students gathered for their first official celebration of the academic year. Seniors opened the programme with a warm introduction and invited juniors to share a few words about themselves, which helped break the ice and encouraged comfortable interaction. This was followed by vibrant cultural performances by seniors as well as juniors, including dance, singing, and entertaining stage activities, all of which kept the audience engaged and cheerful.
Several interactive games and bonding activities were conducted to help freshers feel included and connected with their seniors. A talent walk and short performance round became one of the highlights of the event, allowing freshers to showcase their abilities and confidence. Titles such as Mr. Fresher, Ms. Fresher, Best Performer, and Best Personality were awarded, adding excitement to the celebration and motivating the participants. The event also included group photo sessions where students captured memorable moments with their friends, seniors, and faculty. Throughout the programme, the seniors ensured a respectful, positive, and welcoming environment that allowed juniors to feel comfortable and valued.
The Freshers’ Party 2025 concluded with a vote of thanks and refreshments, leaving the new batch with beautiful memories and a strong sense of belonging to the SRBS family. The event successfully created a warm beginning for the freshers and strengthened the bond between students, making it a joyful and meaningful start to their journey in SRBS.

The Pongal celebration was joyfully organized on 12th January 2026 at the SAHS Ground from 10:30 AM to 2:30 PM. The event was jointly conducted by the Student Council, Fine Arts club, and MSc 1st Year students (Ravencores and Slytherine) with the aim of promoting cultural awareness, unity, and student participation.
The celebration commenced with a traditional Pongal Pooja, accompanied by vibrant Thappattam performances, creating an energetic and festive atmosphere. Following the pooja, each batch was provided with all the necessary Pongal materials and participated enthusiastically in a Pongal preparation competition, showcasing teamwork, creativity, and cultural spirit.
After the Pongal preparation, the event continued with a series of cultural programmes, including singing and dancing performances by students from all SRBS batches. The programmes reflected the rich cultural heritage and talents of the students and were received with great appreciation.
To further enhance participation and enjoyment, several traditional and fun games were conducted, such as Tug of War, Uriyadi (pot breaking), Lemon-in-the-Spoon, and other engaging activities. These games involved both students and faculty members, fostering a sense of togetherness, sportsmanship, and joyful interaction.
The Pongal celebration concluded successfully with active participation, cheerful moments, and cultural pride among all attendees. The event served as a meaningful platform to celebrate tradition, strengthen unity, and create memorable experiences for the SRBS community.

The School of Rehabilitation and Behavioural Sciences (SRBS) celebrated a proud sporting milestone on 20th November 2025 with the official unveiling of the SRBS Cricket Team Jersey for the academic year 2025–26. The ceremony was witnessed by faculty members, dignitaries, student representatives, and the SRBS cricket team.
The jersey was unveiled jointly by:

The dignitaries highlighted the significance of sports in building discipline, teamwork, mental well-being, and leadership skills, especially for budding professionals in Rehabilitation and Behavioural Sciences.

White Coat Ceremony 2025

The programme began with a warm welcome address by Logesh N., followed by the invocation and ceremonial lamp lighting by all the guests.
Dr. Arun Banik (Director) delivered an encouraging address that highlighted the values, ethics, and professionalism expected from future rehabilitation practitioners. Dr. Saravanan (HOD) spoke on the significance of the white coat ceremony, reminding students that the white coat represents dedication, compassion, and service.
One of the most heartfelt moments of the event was the cloaking of the students by the faculty. Many freshers experienced a deep sense of pride as they wore their white coat for the very first time. To make the ceremony more memorable, each student received a personalised illustrated portrait with a congratulatory message, which created a strong emotional connection and made them feel valued. A white banner was also placed at the venue for freshers, faculty, and management staff to sign, allowing everyone to leave behind wishes, blessings, and motivational notes as a collective memory of the day.
The ceremony continued with the pledge led by Dr. Prajna Bhat (Deputy Director), followed by her session on what it means to be a rehabilitation professional. The official release of the book “Orientation Guide to Speech-Language Pathology, Audiology & Psychology” by Dr. Arun Banik added academic significance to the event. The programme concluded with the vote of thanks delivered by Praveen G., Vice President of the Student Council, and the national anthem. Overall, the ceremony was meaningful, emotionally enriching, and left the students inspired to begin their journey with confidence and responsibility.
To make the ceremony even more memorable, all freshers, faculty members, dignitaries, and management staff signed the banner with personalised wishes, blessings, and motivational lines. This interactive and sentimental element added a sense of unity and belonging, symbolising that each student is now officially part of the SRBS family.
The presence of our respected faculty, directors, and management leadership added great value to the event. Their words of wisdom and blessings helped the freshers understand the depth and dignity of their future roles as rehabilitation professionals.
