The Alumni Meet was organized post-lunch following the Graduation Ceremony on 22nd September 2025. The program witnessed enthusiastic participation from 40 students comprising BASLP and M.Sc. Audiology & Speech-Language Pathology graduates, 10 alumni currently pursuing their master’s programs, and 8 alumni who are part of the faculty team.
The event was held in the esteemed presence of the Director, Deputy Director, Alumni Association Coordinator, and Student Council Coordinator.
The session began with a briefing on the Alumni Portal, where updates were shared, and students were guided to register themselves. This was followed by discussions on:
• Future plans and activities to strengthen alumni-student-institutional connections.
• Formation of an Alumni Association to streamline and organize alumni contributions.
• Development of an Alumni Office to provide a structured framework for alumni engagement.
Several alumni took the stage to share their ideas, experiences, and professional journeys, inspiring the graduating students with their insights. The interactive exchanges highlighted the importance of alumni as a vital part of the institution’s growth and development.
The event concluded with a group photo session, marking a memorable and fruitful gathering that strengthened bonds between alumni, students, and faculty.
ALUMNI CONTRIBUTION
The inaugural batch of Postgraduate students (M.Sc. Audiology, 2021–2023) to the Department of Audiology at SRBS, AVMC, Puducherry Campus. As a gesture of gratitude toward the institution, the alumni have donated professional-grade diagnostic equipment to enhance the clinical and academic capabilities of the department.

The V-CONNECT Alumni Meet 2025 was successfully organized on 05 December 2025 at Lecture Hall–I of the Dr. A.S. Ganesan Learning Centre, AVMC,
VMPC Campus. The event was conceived as a platform to reconnect with alumni from various batches, strengthen institutional relationships, and create
opportunities for professional networking and collaborative engagement. The meet brought together a large number of alumni from different disciplines, along
with faculty, students, and several distinguished dignitaries from Vinayaka Mission’s Research Foundation (Deemed to be University). The presence of the
Dr. Ramesh Krishnan, Director of Alumni Relations & Placements, whose leadership contributed to the smooth execution of the meet. The Heads of various constituent institutions—AVMC, SAHS, VMCON, SRBS, and SPT—also participated actively, reflecting the unified commitment of VMPC institutions

Mani, Dean, AVMCThe program began with alumni registration from 9:00 AM onward, during which participants reconnected with their peers, faculty, and the organizing team. The formal proceedings started with the invocation and lighting of the lamp, symbolizing knowledge, learning, and the renewed bond between the institution and its graduates. Following this, the welcome address was delivered by Dr. Ramesh Krishnan, who highlighted the purpose of the meet, the growing contributions of alumni across professional sectors, and the institution’s vision for strengthening alumni engagement in the future.
The Heads of Institutions then addressed the audience, expressing appreciation for the alumni’s accomplishments and inviting them to participate more actively in teaching, training, research, and mentorship initiatives. A short audiovisual presentation showcasing the growth, achievements, infrastructure developments, andacademic milestones of VMPC was screened, giving alumni an updated view of the institution’s progress and expanding capabilities. The dignitarie Address, emphasizing the value of alumni in enhancing the global reputation of the university and their role in shaping the academic and cultural identity of the institution. He highlighted the importance of continuous interaction between alumni and their alma mater, particularly in the areas of higher education, placements, internships, and professional development. This was followed by an engaging session in which selected alumni shared their personal experiences, professional journeys, and reflections on the foundations they received at AVMC and VMPC institutions. Their talks inspired current students and faculty by illustrating the diverse career paths and global opportunities that alumni have successfully pursued. The cultural events that followed added vibrancy to the program. Students performed songs, dances, and other artistic presentations, celebrating the bond between alumni and the institution. The cultural segment was followed by an hour of games and interactive activities designed to create a relaxed and joyful atmosphere. Alumni, faculty, and students enthusiastically participated, fostering camaraderie and strengthening social connections. A dedicated photo session allowed the gathering to capture cherished moments, reinforcing the sense of pride and belonging among attendees.
The event concluded with a formal vote of thanks, acknowledging the contributions of the dignitaries, the organizing team, faculty, student volunteers,
and the alumni who took the time to participate. Lunch was arranged for all guests, during which many meaningful conversations and networking interactionstook place. The V-CONNECT Alumni Meet 2025 resulted in highly positive outcomes. Alumni expressed a renewed interest in collaborating with the
institution through guest lectures, mentorship programs, clinical skill sessions, research partnerships, and career guidance activities. Many volunteered to
support student internships and placements and showed willingness to be included in future institutional initiatives.
Overall, the meet successfully strengthened the relationship between the institution and its alumni, laying the foundation for extended engagements and long-term collaborations. It reaffirmed the commitment of AVMC and VMPC institutions to creating a supportive, interactive, and globally connected alumni community. The event not only celebrated the achievements of alumni but also highlighted the institution’s continued progress, vision, and dedication to academic excellence. The V-CONNECT Alumni Meet 2025 concluded on a highly positive and memorable note, reinforcing the importance of alumni as integral members of the educational community and partners in institutional growth.
