Service Uniform

Service Uniforms are broken down into two "classes". Class B, or the service uniform, is the minimum uniform for all members. Class B has two vairents, short and long sleeve. Class A, or service dress, involves the service coat. Class A coat is worn over the Class B uniform. The Class A coat is not required and is optional.

Class B, Mandatroy Items

Headgear:
1. Men's Officer Flight Cap
  1. Flight Cap Device, placed 1 1/2 inch from the front front edge of the flight cap on the wearers left side.
2. Men's NCO Flight Cap
3. Women's Officer Flight Cap
  1. Flight Cap Device, placed 1 1/2 inch from the front front edge of the flight cap on the wearers left side.
4. Women's NCO Flight Cap
Shirt
1. Men's short sleeve shirt
2. Men's long sleeve shirt
  1. Air Force tie is requried for long sleeve shirt and optional with short sleeve.
3. Women's Short Sleeve shirt
  1. Tuck in
  2. Over blouse
4. Women's long sleeve shirt
  1. Tuck in
  2. Over blouse
  3. Air Force tie tab is requried for long sleeve shirt and optional with short sleeve.
5. Grey Name Tag:
  1. Men: The name tag will be centered, resting on, but not over the edge of the pleated pocket on the wearer’s right.
  2. Women: The name tag will be centered, even with to 1 1⁄2 inches higher or lower than the first exposed button on the wearer’s right.
6. Grade Insignia:
Undershirt:
1. White tank top or white v-neck required to be worn under uniform shirt. Cannot be seen when wearing an open collar.
Trousers/ skirt:
Belt:
1. Male
2. Female
Footwear:
1. Oxford, low quarters.
2. Pumps, females only.
Socks:
1. Men must wear black dress socks
2. Hosiery must be worn with the skirt and are optional with slacks; however, if not wearing hosiery with slacks, plain (not patterned) black socks must be worn. Hosiery will be plain commercial, sheer, nylon in neutral, dark brown, black or off black, or dark blue shades. Patterned hosiery is not authorized to be worn with any uniform.

  1. Grade Epaulettes Required
    1. Male Officers
    2. Female Officers
    3. NCO's wear blank epaulettes with Metal Chevrons pinned to it.
3. Pullover sweater
  1. Women's
  2. Grade Epaulettes Required
    1. Male Officers

    3. NCO's wear blank epaulettes with Metal Chevrons pinned to it

Class A, Service Dress Uniform

Class A, Service Dress, is worn over the Class B uniform, without the outergarments.

Class A, Mandatory Items

Service Coat, Officers will have blue sleeve braid sewn to sleeves, 3 inches from the sleeve. Should come with jacket.
Air Force tie (Males) or Air Force tie tab (females) is requried
