We had the opportunity to spend the day in Salt Lak with the Young Women. I was touched by the spirit multiple times, especially when we visited the family history center. The amount of work and dedication that the church puts into perserving our family history is incredible. I have learned so much from my ancestors because of the stories I have read of their trials and endurance they showed. It inspires me to be more serious about writing down my sroty for future generations. I always love going to temple square because you feel nothing but love and appreciation for this gospel. -Sister Jessica Arroyo
Being able to walk through the museum was an amazing experience to be able to see and hear about the scriptures and the people in the scriptures. I am so glad that I was able to go and everywhere we went, I felt the spirit. - Kameren Weaver
I learned that Megan is related to Walt Disney and Joseph Smith and I had a great time at Salt Lake City. The lights were so pretty and it was so cold at night. The escalators were fun and the conference view was so beautiful. My dinner was so good and I'm glad for Brenna and I'm glad that I finished level 3 of my Star Wars D.S. game. - Sidonia Corbridge
During the Young Women's trip to Salt Lake, I really enjoyed visiting the Church History Museum. It was so interesting to see all the pictures and displays. It was very inspiring to see all of the hard work and the struggles that our early church leaders went through. I also enjoyed visiting the family history building. It was amazing to see all of the work that is being done there. - Sister Julie Hugie
Family history is important because we can look at the failures and successes of our ancestors and learn from them. It's also nice to just learn where you come from and what your ancestors did to get you where you are now. It also helps others come closer to Christ. I really enjoyed visiting the Family Histroy building, their fun activitiesm and seeing all the hard work they put in. I had a lot of fun with building my own family coat of arms.- Kenley Hugie
Walking into the church history museum felt like walking righ into the scriptures. Every turn you make is more good doctrine information on Joseph Smith and so on. With beautiful art from others throughout the church, I could have spent days wandering through all the halls of the church buildings. It was amazing watching each of the girls in awe of all they have put into the musuems. We started by watching a film on Joseph Smith in the Sacred Grove. We lifted a replica of the Golden Plates and saw how large the statues of Angle Moroni are. It made me want to serve a mission one day after visiting with all the sweet/kind missionaries. With just a click of a button, I could find a large family tree and find who we look like. I enjoyed seeing all the nativities from different countries as we walked around outside as well. - Sister Megan Simmons
I learned more about our church history. It helped strengthen my testimony of the gospel. I learned that the spirit is really strong in those building, walking around the temple and looking at the painting. It brings the spirit and helps your feel so much better. Taking the time to learn about each other helps you view them as children of God and our Heavenly siblings. - Brenna Sorensen
Family is so important. The blessings I have recieved from knowing where I come from as a child of God and as a member of my familytree have changed my life. I got to learn that God sends angels to check in on me when I feel alone, when I am feeling lost and helpless and He sends people to show me His love. - Amy Wieght
There is so much spiritual energy in the Church History Museum, especially form the volunteers. To hear the devotion from them is so heartfelt. It increases mine. The Family Search Library is amazing! The resources seem endless and again has so much positive energy. The library is incredible. Despite the cold weather outside, we could feel the warmth and see the light everywhere around the temple. -Sister Samantha Weaver
I loved going to the Family Search Library. Knowing that each person has their own family tree and the people there make finding your family easier.
-Lena Weight
We were walking around temple square and I was freezing until I turned the corner and there was a fountain that had a lot of floating lights and a statue of the nativity. Behind it, was the temple and I didn't feel as cold anymore. The light of Christ can make us warm. - Esther Weight
Spring Creek Ward Young Women
LIVE
The Lord’s precious daughters have been tremendous examples of accomplishing this work in small and simple ways. Young women live the gospel of Jesus Christ by exercising faith in Christ, repenting daily, making covenants with God as they receive the ordinances of salvation and exaltation and enduring to the end by keeping those covenants.
Young women care for those in need by serving and ministering to individuals, families and communities. As they follow the pattern of the Savior, this includes sharing resources and helping others to become self-reliant.
Young women invite all to receive the gospel of Jesus Christ. The Lord wants to bless all His children, and He allows us to be His voice and His hands. The best, most genuine way to share the gospel is to let His light shine through us in the way we live every day. President Russell M. Nelson reminds us, “Any time we do anything that helps anyone to make and keep their covenants with God, we are helping to gather Israel.”
Young women unite families for eternity in many ways. They can be an example of Christlike living in their home. They can be worthy to receive a limited-use temple recommend to participate in baptisms and confirmations for the dead. They can help prepare their own families to receive temple ordinances, including family sealings and their own future eternal marriage. They can participate in indexing to organize family history records to help others receive the gospel of Jesus Christ.

She loves wrestling, good food, watching movies, and babysitting. Kinley has always been my little helper and never ceases to jump in and help whenever needed, even if it's not fun or convenient. Kinley loves to create in every capacity. She also has the best comments and truly takes things to heart and strives to see how it applies to her.
