After a lot of traveling and a long night of getting to know each other, we started the morning with a light (optional) training; it went smoothly, even though only a few participants woke up in time, introducing us to the topic of the Erasmus project. We then had our breakfast and after that we headed outside to get familiar with the surroundings, exploring the area. Later we discussed the rules that we'll follow during our journey together, like being on time for the activities and respecting others.
After a quick coffee break, we initiated the "Secret Friend" game, in which each of us has to prepare little (not mandatory) gifts every day for the picked one, being their "secret friend" this whole time.
Enjoying the outdoors once again, we got to know each other through some interactive games, learning names, hobbies, beliefs, plans for the future etc..
In the evening we played human bingo, a super fun suggested activity, followed by a couple energizers.
The day was finished with the Latvian intercultural night, in which we explored fascinating things about Latvian culture, from common knowledge to traditional dances and food and drinks. The final mood was party-like, everyone enjoying various types of music, feeling good and socializing until nightfall.
The day began with high energy and laughter, thanks to an engaging energizer led by Fabi, a participant from Romania. Disguised as a joke activity, the energizer revolved around “John,” a fictional employee at a button company who never quite managed to be busy. Each time his boss arrived, he was assigned yet another button to press — using every imaginable part of his body. The result? A room full of laughter, creativity, and connection — the perfect way to kick off the day.
Following the energizer, participants dove into the heart of the Erasmus+ program. A short lecture introduced the history and impact of Erasmus and Erasmus+, followed by an interactive quiz that tested and strengthened our understanding of European youth opportunities and mobility.
With the sun blazing and temperatures high, plans for outdoor sports had to be adjusted.☀️ Instead of playing football, we gathered in the shade for a moderated discussion — calm in tone but bold in content. Participants engaged in thought-provoking debates on topics that often spark intense open-minded, and reflective — showcasing the spirit of dialogue that Erasmus+ encourages.
In the afternoon, the Romanian group took the lead with a fun and creative group activity. Participants were divided into six teams, each given a photo of a Romanian sports legend💪. The challenge? To recreate the photo as accurately (and humorously) as possible using whatever props they could find. The winning team was chosen based on the number of reactions received for their photo — a fun and social twist that kept the atmosphere lively.
To wrap up the day, we celebrated a Polish🇵🇱 Cultural Evening, highlighting the richness of Poland’s traditions.
The third Erasmus+ day was packed with excitement, discovery, and cultural exchange from start to finish. The morning began on a delicious note with a hearty breakfast that gave everyone the energy needed for a dynamic day ahead.
To kick things off, the Spanish team organized a spirited dodgeball game, but with a twist. Adding a layer of awareness and empathy, some players simulated different disabilities such as blindness or physical handicaps. This unique adaptation brought a fresh perspective to teamwork, communication, and inclusion in sports.
After the fun game, participants enjoyed a well deserved coffee break. During this time, each country represented in the program shared insights into their national sports culture and the role of sports in their society. It was an informative session that revealed interesting facts and sparked conversations.
Following a tasty lunch, the sunny weather invited everyone to enjoy the beautiful natural surroundings. While some took a refreshing dip in the nearby lake, others played volleyball or simply relaxed and soaked in the peaceful atmosphere.
The afternoon continued with an exciting activity led by the Bulgarian team. They challenged us with three rock climbing-related tasks that tested our coordination, strength, and problem-solving skills bringing out both the adventurers and team players in us.
As the sun began to set, we gathered for dinner, ready for the final highlight of the day: the Spanish team's intercultural night. It was an unforgettable celebration filled with traditional Spanish dishes, vibrant dances, and cultural stories that brought everyone closer together.
This Erasmus+ day was a perfect blend of physical activity, cultural exchange, and a true reflection of what the program is all about.
Today’s Erasmus+ day started off strong with a lot of content in the Gossip Box. Cristian and Adrian were tasked with reading all of the gossip, which had morphed to mostly push-up challenges. All of this was then broken up by the very fun and engaging energizer by Cristian: Mosquito. In this energizer one person needs to duck and slap a mosquito above them, while their 2 neighbors slap the mosquito above the crouched person.
After everyone was invigorated we were divided into teams of 6 and we had to come up with a new sport. One of the biggest difficulties in this task was that there was no direction or guidance. Everyone was expected to take up hierarchical roles: leaders, note takers, creatives, testers. There also weren’t any limitations for the sports: some groups made sports that add elements to existing ones, some made sports inclusive for all members of the project, some made sports that can be played anywhere anytime.
🏅1st created a sport that was similar to a scout camp game: BUILD RACE.
🏅2nd team came up with Flyball.
🏅3rd team created Dizzy football.
🏅4th team made a portable game called Olympic Spinner.
🏅5th team gave life to Farmball
🏅6th team invented Bellball
The most liked sport by the group was Bellball, wiping out the competition with ease. The main reason for the sport’s commercial success was the hilarious volunteer demonstration by the team of Toma and Katya playing the team of Adrian and Alina. This sport will be an activity in one of the following days.
The rest of the day was spent forming a plan for the Sports Campaign in Jelgava. People had plenty of time to divide into tasks and rehearse the street interviews, photo taking, people-inticing. In the breaks groups would play some sports. There was a small volleyball match that took place on the field and many of the boys played in the parking lot for hours.
Overall 4th of july was a relaxed day, as a preparation for the upcoming travelling
On Day 5 of our Erasmus+ Sports4All project, we went to Jelgava to promote physical activity. We invited random people of Jelgava to try fun challenges like hanging on a special wooden training equipment and walking on a slackline. We also did short interviews to hear their thoughts on staying active. To finish the day with some fun, we danced together in a parking lot and spread good energy and did photo orienteering in Jelgava city! (Photos and videos from Sports Campaign you can find lower on the page)
As a follow of breakfast we got introduced to the plan for day number 6, and after so we had an energising game, which was about spinning as hard as you can in a circle.☀️
Another task for today, another opportunity to exchange knowledge about sport. We had to make 5 groups in which we were discussing our understanding: advantages, disadvantages, risks and influence area of sports. The discussion was done by switching posters with a bunch of different topics every 5 minutes, followed by a presentation and a motivational video of Michael Phelps.💯
A game called Share or Steal was our next activity. It’s all about learning the lesson that as a society we should accomplish something together first and then think about our own benefits. It turned out that people never learn and it’s always the other way around.
After lunch, the Polish team organised a volleyball tournament. Everyone enjoyed it so much that we even extended the game by half an hour. After that, we played Bellball and Building Race — the games that had been voted for in the survey a few days ago.
In the evening, it was time for the Bulgarian Night. Everyone was amazed by the quality and effort the Bulgarian team put into it. They performed a short scene as if everything was happening in a typical Bulgarian bar. The girls were dressed in traditional folk costumes and acted as waitresses, while Kira and Stefan played the roles of typical Bulgarians drinking and eating in the bar. They baked their own pastries and served homemade rakija. They told us about their culture, customs, and traditions — like dressing up as monsters or jumping into icy water to search for a cross. We even danced their folk dances together. We also learned that Bulgaria is famous for producing rose oil, which is later used in cosmetics.🇧🇬
After that, as usual, we spent the evening together talking, playing, dancing and simply enjoying each other’s company .
Despite a rainy start🌧 to the morning in Latvia, spirits remained high as we embraced another exciting day of our Erasmus+ journey. The weather couldn't dampen our enthusiasm, in fact, it added a cozy touch to what turned out to be a truly creative and inspiring experience.
After enjoying a hearty breakfast, we gathered to go over the day's agenda. We kicked things off with an energizing warm-up activity that got everyone⚡️ moving, setting a positive tone for what was to come.
The main focus of the day was filmmaking, and we dove right into it. Divided into five teams, we were tasked with creating short videos (3–4 minutes long) on the theme of sports. Each team approached the challenge differently: some chose a humorous take, while others opted for a more serious storyline. Regardless of the style, every group showcased impressive teamwork, creativity, and originality. The end results were fantastic and reflected the diverse perspectives and talents of the participants.🎬📽
As the day turned to evening, we enjoyed a well-deserved dinner before gathering once more, this time for a lively and heartfelt talent show. Participants took to the stage to share their hidden talents: singing, dancing, and even displays of strength through fitness routines.💪
The night wrapped up with everyone heading off to rest, feeling excited for what tomorrow would bring.

After a rough wake-up following last night’s Talent Show, we got ourselves ready for a long and eventful day. The breakfast helped us kick things off and we were handed packed lunches because Day 8 was all about a field trip with the destination: Ķemeri National Park.🌲🌲
We hopped on the bus and Elza handed out snacks. Our first stop was Ķemeri Bog Boardwalk, a peaceful natural area with wooden paths stretching over the wetlands. We took a walk, enjoyed the views and climbed the observation tower, most of us via the stairs, while the Bulgarians showed off their climbing skills. After lunch in the parking lot, we visited the nearby Ķemeri Water Tower, recently renovated and offering great panoramic views. We also had fun with the photo booth here.
Later, we finally reached the Gulf of Riga and admired the beauty of the Baltic Sea. Some of us went into the water, others just relaxed on the sand. Our daily reflection took place right there on the beach⛱️⛱️On the way back, we made a quick stop at the shops before returning to our accommodation, waiting for the Romanians to invite us to Romania’s Intercultural Night.
The Romanian team welcomed us with a presentation about the country, its places, traditions and food. They also hosted a Kahoot and taught us traditional Romanian dances. After that, everyone was invited to a barbecue to taste “mici.”
Day 9 started with a fun and energizing acroyoga session🤸🤸♂️. It was a great way to wake up our bodies and minds as we balanced, stretched, and supported each other. There were also lots of laughs. After that relaxing start, we jumped into more active sports. Football ⚽️was the main game, but everyone could choose what they wanted to do: some played badminton🎾 or volleyball,⚽️ while others chilled on the sidelines, cheering and enjoying the vibe. Later, we switched things up with a fun drawing game.👨🎨 We had to sketch celebrities shown on a screen, but we only had a short time for each one. The rounds got faster and funnier, and by the end, we had six quick and hilarious portraits. Then it was time for Shark Tank! Each group pitched a business idea to a panel of "investors." To end the busy day, we relaxed in the sauna and hot tub. It was the perfect way to unwind after all the activity.
Day 10 – the final day of our Erasmus+ project – was filled with emotions, gratitude, and celebration.
We started with dissemination activities, where participants reflected on everything they had learned and experienced throughout the project. It was inspiring to hear personal stories, growth moments, and future ideas sparked by this exchange. 🌍✨
Next came the long-awaited Secret Friend reveal! Everyone finally found out who had been leaving them kind notes, small gifts, and kind gestures all week.💌
After that, we gathered for the Youthpass and award ceremony, where we celebrated the energy, creativity, and commitment of our amazing participants. Everything happend just because of four amazing participants. 🏆🌟 And of course others who were sitting and thinking who desereves which award
It was a beautiful way to wrap up our journey together – full of smiles, hugs, and promises to meet again. It was verry calm, verry peaceful and at the same time verrrrry wonderful adventure.❤️❤️❤️
