Purpose
Week 2/13 and 2/20 Deliverables are dedicated to constructing the sediment boxes for testing. The wood, PVC, and geotextile were cut to size, the wood was drilled together, the slope supports were constructed, and the sealant was placed on the seams. During the first week of construction, our team cut most of our materials to size using various machinery, such as the table saw and power saw. During the second week of construction, our team completed our box and placed the sediment within the box to simulate the "control sediment box". Next week will continue construction on the remaining three boxes.
