- Remove the problematic diode that affected the first version
- Solve power supply instability issues by redesigning the 3.3v power supply
- Harden microUSB port with a more reliable component
- Increase overall reliability of the board
- Consider redesigning the logic level shifter on the serial port between the ESP8266 and the Arduino sides
- Decrease board fabrication costs
- Enhance compatibility of board with Arduino shields (v1.0 only supports double length shields)
- Might want to change TX/RX from D7 and D8 to D2 and D4?
- Better board aesthetics (company logo, credits, text on silkscreen)
