Dzyuba Labs ("we," "our," or "us") provides the Speed Over Ground (SOG) application for Wear OS. Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle data when you use our application.

1. Information We Collect and Use

A. Location Data

The core functionality of SOG is to provide your current speed based on GPS data.

• What we access: We request access to your device's Precise Location (GPS).

• How we use it: This data is used exclusively to calculate your current speed in real-time while the app is active on your screen.

• Storage & Sharing: We do not collect, store on our servers, or share your location data with any third parties. The location data is processed locally on your device and is discarded immediately after use or when the app is closed.

B. User Preferences

We use Android Jetpack DataStore to save your app settings (such as your preferred speed units—Knots, km/h, etc.—and UI color preferences). This data remains locally on your device and is not shared with us or any third party.

2. Third-Party Services

Our app is built using Google Play Services (Location and Wearable APIs). These services may collect information used to identify you according to their own privacy policies. We do not have access to the data collected by Google Play Services.

3. Data Retention

Because we do not collect any personal data or location history on our servers, we do not retain any of your private information. Your settings are stored on your device until the app is uninstalled.

4. Children’s Privacy

Our application does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children.

5. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
