Welcome to the Speak: AI Language Learning Before you proceed, please read and understand our Terms and Conditions. Your download and use of the app imply your agreement to these terms.
Acceptance of Terms
These Terms and Conditions ('Terms') govern your use of the peer calling feature ('Feature') within Speak: AI Language Learning, operated by Hypersoft Tech('we', 'us', or 'our'). By using the Feature, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Feature.
You must be at least 13 years old to use the peer calling feature. By using the Feature, you confirm that you meet this age requirement. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts where we have reason to believe the user is under 13.
You must sign in with a valid Google account to use the Feature
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
You must not share your account with any other person
You must not create multiple accounts for the purpose of evading a suspension or ban
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these Terms
Real-time voice calls with other users for English language practice
AI-generated feedback on your grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation after each call
A partner rating and favourites system for managing preferred practice partners
A free tier providing limited calls per week and a premium subscription for unlimited access
Every peer call is transcribed for the purpose of generating your AI feedback. By starting a call, you acknowledge and consent to the following:
Your voice audio will be transcribed by AssemblyAI
The resulting transcript will be analysed by Google Gemini to generate your feedback
Your audio recording will be permanently deleted within 24 hours
A portion of your transcript may be reviewed by our trust and safety team if a violation is detected
A recording indicator is displayed on screen during all calls
AI feedback is a core and inseparable function of the peer calling feature. You cannot opt out of AI feedback while using the Feature. All AI feedback is automatically generated and is labelled as such within the app. We do not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of AI-generated feedback.
When using the peer calling feature, you agree to:
Speak in English during calls
Be respectful and patient with your speaking partners
Keep conversations appropriate and free from offensive content
Use the Feature only for English language practice purposes
The following are strictly prohibited and will result in immediate enforcement action:
Abusive language, insults, or name calling directed at your partner
Harassment, bullying, or persistent unwanted contact with any user
Sexual language, sexual comments, or sexually explicit content of any kind
Threats of violence, death threats, or threats against any person or their property
Predatory behaviour, grooming, or any contact of an inappropriate nature with any user
Attempting to obtain another user's personal contact information, location, or financial information
Impersonating another person or creating a false identity
Using the Feature to distribute spam, malware, or commercial solicitations
Circumventing or attempting to circumvent our moderation systems
We operate a three-strike system for most violations. Severe violations including threats and predatory behaviour result in immediate permanent account suspension without warning. Details of our violation policy thresholds are available at [violation policy URL]. We reserve the right to take any enforcement action we deem appropriate at our sole discretion.
You may report another user during or after a call using the in-app report function
Reports are reviewed by our trust and safety team and may result in enforcement action against the reported user
We will not disclose the outcome of enforcement actions to the person who made the report beyond a general confirmation that action was taken
Submitting false or malicious reports is a violation of these Terms and may result in action against your account
Free users receive a limited number of peer calls per week as specified in the app
Free calls are subject to a maximum duration limit as specified in the app
Free tier limits may be changed at any time with reasonable notice
Premium subscriptions provide unlimited calls, no call time limit, and additional features as described in the app
Subscriptions are billed on a weekly, monthly, or annual basis as selected by the user
A 7-day free trial is available on the monthly plan for new subscribers
Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date
Subscriptions are managed through Google Play and are subject to Google Play's billing terms
Refunds are subject to Google Play's refund policy
All content in the app including AI feedback, design, code, and branding belongs to us or our licensors
You retain ownership of your speech during calls
By using the Feature, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to process your voice audio and transcript solely for the purposes described in our Privacy Policy
You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the app
The peer calling feature is provided as is without warranties of any kind
We do not guarantee that calls will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times
We do not guarantee the accuracy, usefulness, or completeness of AI-generated feedback
We are not responsible for the conduct of other users during calls
We do not guarantee that our moderation system will detect or prevent all violations
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the peer calling feature, including but not limited to damages arising from interactions with other users, reliance on AI-generated feedback, or interruption to the service.
You may delete your account at any time from within the app under Settings
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these Terms
Upon termination, your data will be deleted as described in our Privacy Policy
Users who have been permanently banned for predatory behaviour will have their accounts automatically deleted after 30 days
We are not required to provide a reason for termination in cases of serious violations
Users who receive a warning, temporary suspension, or permanent ban may appeal the decision (except in cases of predatory behaviour, for which no appeal is available)
Appeals must be submitted within 14 days of the enforcement action
Appeals are reviewed by our trust and safety team within 48 hours
Our decision on appeal is final
These Terms are governed by the laws of [your jurisdiction]. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Feature shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of [your jurisdiction].

App Usage and Restrictions
By using the app, you agree not to copy, modify, or tamper with it, including our trademarks. Attempting to extract the app's source code or creating derivative versions is prohibited. All app-related rights, trademarks, copyrights, and intellectual property remain with HyperSoft AI - Apps Lab.
Changes and Charges
We reserve the right to make changes to the app and its services, and to introduce charges if needed. We will communicate any charges clearly before implementing them.

Unlock Premium Features with a Pro Subscription: When you subscribe to the Speak: AI Language Learning Pro Subscription, you'll enjoy an enhanced, ad-free experience. This includes access to All exclusive features of the app Excluded Games.
Subscription Terms: -
Billing Frequency: The Speak: AI Language Learning: Pro Subscription is billed annually. Additionally, for your convenience, we offer one-month payment options and 3-months option for an easy and effective pricing plan and user satisfaction.
Payment: Your subscription payment is securely processed through the Google Play Store once you confirm your purchase.
Automatic Renewal: To comply with Google Play policies, your subscription will automatically renew after any free trial period. To prevent automatic renewal charges, please make sure to cancel your subscription at least 24 hours before the trial period ends.
Cancellation Policy: You have the flexibility to cancel your subscription anytime. Simply visit the Google Play Store and adjust your subscription settings. If you cancel during a trial period, you won't incur any charges.
Managing Subscriptions: You can easily manage your subscription preferences, including turning off auto-renewal, directly within your Google Play Store account settings.
Please note that the subscription auto-renews before the end of the current period unless canceled at least 24 hours in advance. For further assistance or inquiries regarding your subscription, please contact our customer support.

Liabilities and Connectivity
While we're dedicated to providing an efficient app, we're not liable for connectivity issues. Certain functions require an active internet connection; your mobile network provider's terms apply. Roaming charges may apply if you use the app outside your home region without turning off data roaming.
Your Responsibility
To ensure uninterrupted service, please maintain your device's battery and ensure its proper operation. We cannot be held responsible if you can't access the Service due to device issues.
Updates and Termination
We may update the app periodically to enhance your experience. You're required to accept updates for continued usage. We retain the right to discontinue the app without notice.
