Hello! My name is Jessica Gonzalez, and I’m so excited to be the school counselor here at Scholarship Prep Upland! This is my first year as a school counselor, and I feel honored to start this journey with our amazing students and families. I graduated from Cal Poly Pomona with a degree in Liberal Studies and a minor in Psychology. I also earned my Master’s degree in Educational Counseling with a Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) credential and a concentration in Spanish Bilingual Biliteracy (SBBC) from the University of La Verne. 

As the TK–8th grade school counselor, I’m here to support all students in their academic, social, and emotional growth. I'm here to create a safe and welcoming space where students can share their thoughts, feelings, or concerns. I’m here to listen, care, and help all students succeed!

Este es mi primer año como consejera escolar, y me siento honrada de comenzar este camino con nuestros increíbles estudiantes y familias. Como consejera escolar de TK a 8.º grado, estoy aquí para apoyar a todos los estudiantes en su crecimiento académico, social y emocional. Estoy aquí para crear un espacio seguro y acogedor donde los estudiantes puedan compartir sus pensamientos, sentimientos o inquietudes. ¡Estoy aquí para escuchar, cuidar y ayudar a todos los estudiantes a tener éxito!
