My name is Chayanne Ramirez and I am beyond thrilled to be your School Counselor for this school year! I am a first-generation college graduate from the University of California, Irvine where I double majored in Social Policy and Public Service, and Chicano Latino Studies. I continued my educational career at Chapman University where I received a Master's in Counseling. Although this is my first year at SP Riverside, I will be serving my 9th academic school year. I have experience working with students ranging from Tk-12th grade and I am so excited for the opportunity to work with every one of you. I truly enjoy the work that I do because it makes a difference for my students.  I am excited to build connections with my students, their families, and our community partners. As a School Counselor, my role is to maximize student success for ALL students by focusing on academic development, social/ emotional learning, and college/career readiness.

Mi nombre es Chayanne Ramirez y estoy encantada de ser su consejera escolar este año. Soy la primera de mi familia en graduarme de la Universidad de California, Irvine, donde me especialicé en Política Social y Servicio Público, y Estudios Chicano Latinos. Continué mi carrera académica en la Universidad Chapman, donde obtuve una maestría en Consejería. Aunque este es mi primer año en SP Riverside, estaré en mi noveno año académico. Estoy muy emocionada por la oportunidad de trabajar con cada uno de ustedes. Disfruto mucho de mi trabajo porque marca la diferencia para mis estudiantes. Me entusiasma construir conexiones con mis estudiantes, sus familias y nuestros socios comunitarios. Como consejera escolar, mi función es maximizar el éxito estudiantil de TODOS los estudiantes, enfocándome en el desarrollo académico, el aprendizaje socioemocional y la preparación para la universidad y la carrera profesional.
