The Oathbringers: The Oathbringers hold a magical and ancestral significance to Spartopia. They are seen as the weavers of the Spartan landscape, shaping it from the last light from a dying, distant star. There are many stories about the Oathbringers -- passed down from generation to generation and in the Ancient Texts. There are so many tales that the regular Spartan cannot sort out facts from fiction.
Ancient texts say that the Oathbringers were created by the Fates -- deities --- who entrusted the Oathbringers to provide guidance to the lands they inhabited. Through this instruction, the Oathbringers came down from the skies and were seen as powerful entities that walked the earth, protecting all they saw.
They blended in with the creatures and beings of the earth - no one ever truly saw the real form of an Oathbringer, but could identify them through a mark on their foreheads and their black robes.
So captivated by their citizens, the Oathbringers dedicated a set of three regions to serve as a balance between the celestial world and the physical one. By their decree, they created the Ember Region (Spartopia), the Moss Region (Familiar's Grove), and the Hex Region (Monster's Isle/the Outlands).
