Familiar's Grove is located by going through a pair of doors. It is another region of Spartopia, referred to in ancient texts as the Moss region. The grove is meant to be the training spot and interaction spot for all things related to your familiar.
Training Rings: There are currently two active training rings in the Grove and one Familiar Player-vs-Player (PVP) ring.
The first is accessed by going through the doors and heading to the Northwest. It is called the Goldstone Arena, but often referred to as the Golden Trainer ring in-game due to the trainer being a golden Cat familiar. This is the only ring solely dedicated to just your familiar's training. It is able to be fast-traveled to by saying !fg and going through the doors.
Beginning the Fight: When entering the arena, you'll be prompted with a pop-up and a question box asking if you're ready to fight. Say yes to continue. The fight will automatically continue and no actions are required to move the battle along.
Afterward: After the battle, you'll be transported to the Familiar's Grove infirmary and receive your coins and experience points from the fight. Your familiar will receive experience, you will receive the coins.
The second ring, the A ring, is located to the Southeast of the Familiar's Grove Infirmary. This is where Common Monsters are fought -- and the only ring where you can fight alongside your familiar. A random Monster will generate each time you enter the ring. You can fast-travel to this ring by saying the letter "a" in-game.
This spar system is the same auto-spar system as all of the other rings, but you have the ability to call upon your familiar's Pet Ability (variable by familiar type) for extra damage, healing, or strength. The Pet Ability is accessed through a Pet Ability bar that appears when you enter the arena.
How to Use the Pet Ability: You will get notice when you enter the spar arena what your pet ability is. You'll be able to click the "Pet Ability" button in the right-hand corner every two seconds in battle.
The Pet Ability bar will increase if you choose not to use it every two seconds -- producing a Mega Bar that illuminates when it is ready for use. This Mega Bar will ensure maximum damage / healing / strength for your familiar to use in battle. The lesser the HP of the monster you are battling, the higher the effect.
A Ring Fact: If the A ring gets stuck in battle, the command to say is !resethybrid.
The PVP ring is the newest spar ring available where your familiar may face an opponent's familiar! Simply say !pvp to fast-travel and pick a side of the ring to enter. Auto-battle system is set in place so no actions needed when sparring.
Monsters You May Face While In The Ring: There are eight types of monsters you may meet while in the A ring - each with a different amount of toughness for you and your familiar to face.
