Legends of Spartopia vary wide and far. Some say it was founded by Martyn, a mouse furre from the land of Kasuria. Others say it was created by Primordial beings called the Oathbringers long before Martyn arrived. Whatever the tie, it is clear Spartopia is a land of many wonders and much promise.
Magic in Spartopia: The magic of Spartopia is sacred and runs deep. It is ever-present and never runs out. It is fueled by the magic of Familiars and their bonds to those they choose - be it a Spartan citizen, a Novice, or a visitor. Magic is, much like the air, never seen unless harnessed by those who master in Spellcasting. It is felt, however, and may be more powerful in some places than others. Magic-users such as Enchanters, Bards, and Rangers, can use the magic to their advantage and make the magic appear as different colors and shapes when using a spell. They can conjure illusions and traps with it as well if they wish - depending on the Spellcaster and situation. Magic can be realized at once when choosing a class or can be slow to "turn on" after choosing a class. It depends on how willing and ready the magic-user is to embrace the class they chose.
