About Us
Our mission is to provide a flexible platform that allows our volunteers to develop responsibility, confidence, leadership and communication skills while mitigating the social determinants of health
Who We Are
SPARK is an organization, dedicated to supporting individuals and diverse communties. With specific programs for each cause, SPARK provides volunteers with the oppurtuntiy help underprivileged communities and provides ample resources for those in need.
In addition, our community service opportunities throughout the Greater Phoenix Area involve volunteering and fundraising for economcially disadvantaged families which face food insecurity, providing STEM targeted tutoring, and providing nessecary resources for equal education.
We believe that a sustainable model of a philantropic organization should provide value to the community as well as growth to those who serve! Therefore, our volunteers enjoy the flexibility of choosing their service projects, in regards to their personal passions, and having the oppurtunity to provide insightful input and new recommendations.
We promote global development in the youth with the necessary life skills to succeed in the real world beyond. SPARK makes education, food & home essentials, and awareness accessible for everyone!
Meet the Team
We are two siblings, Humayl and Fatimah Amer, who started the initiative of SPARKHope and with the help of advocates like YOU across the world, have now been alleviating social determinants of health through our many programs.
SPARKHope is a currently in process to be a registered 501c(3). SPARKHope is a platform for our youth to use their passion and learn more about civic engagement by joining and taking part in our programs. Each program is focused on a specific social determinant of health: such as food insecurity, education, income, and healthcare.
From raising thousands of pounds of food (through partnerships with local businesses and mom and pop shops) to providing hundreds of civic engagement books, we are making a difference in the world, sparking hope in our community.
