Activity Description:
Students will create a personalized digital presentation describing their daily routine in Spanish using reflexive verbs and related vocabulary. Each student will outline their morning, afternoon, and evening activities, ensuring their sentences are detailed and accurate. The presentation should include visuals (images, icons, or drawings) for each part of their routine and at least 6 reflexive verbs.
Students will also record themselves narrating their routine in Spanish to practice pronunciation and fluency. They can use tools such as Google Slides, Canva, or Prezi.
Activity Description:
In small groups, students will choose a celebrity and collaboratively create a digital presentation describing that celebrity's imagined daily routine in Spanish. Using reflexive verbs and daily routine vocabulary, each group member will contribute at least two sentences about the morning, afternoon, or evening activities. The presentation will include visuals (photos, icons, or drawings) to represent each part of the routine.
Groups can use tools like Canva or YouTube to create their presentation and will present it to the class in Spanish, practicing pronunciation and teamwork.
Description:
Students will complete a quiz designed to test their understanding of reflexive verbs and daily routine vocabulary. The quiz will include short-answer sections where students conjugate reflexive verbs in various contexts. There will also be prompts requiring students to write complete sentences describing routines in Spanish, ensuring they demonstrate both grammar and vocabulary mastery.
Description:
After completing the quiz, students will write a brief reflection about their experience with the assessments. They will answer prompts such as:
What part of the quiz was easiest or most challenging for you, and why?
How well do you think you understood reflexive verbs by the end of this unit?
What is something you learned about yourself as a language learner during this unit?
The reflection will provide valuable insight into students’ self-awareness and their learning process, while also giving them a voice to share feedback about the assessments.
