Collaborative Activity: La Rutina de una Celebridad

Step 1: Watch this Intro Video!

Objective: Students will work in small groups to create and share a collaborative digital timeline of a "shared daily routine," combining individual contributions and using reflexive verbs in Spanish.

Form groups of 3-4 students.

Step 5: Plan your Shared Routine

As a group, decide on a "shared routine" for a celebrity.

Step 6: Assign Responsibilities

Each student in the group is responsible for contributing 1-2 activities to the timeline.
Include visuals (images, icons, or drawings) for each activity.

Step 7: Write Sentences for Each Activity

Use reflexive verbs to describe each part of the day.

Example:

A las seis de la mañana, nos despertamos y nos cepillamos los dientes.
Por la tarde, almorzamos y estudiamos juntos.

Example Timeline Structure:

Morning:
- Nos despertamos a las seis de la mañana.
- Nos duchamos y nos vestimos para la escuela.
Afternoon:
- Almorzamos a las doce.
- Hacemos la tarea juntos después de la escuela.
Evening:
- Nos relajamos viendo televisión.
- Nos acostamos a las diez de la noche.

Step 8: Assessment; Present your Timeline on Padlet

Share your timeline with the class and upload it to Padlet.
Each group member presents their part of the routine in Spanish.

Step 9: Feedback

Comment on two of your classmates' Padlets, sharing what you enjoyed from their project and what you learned and liked from viewing.
