We are all seniors from the STEM Academy of Lewisville, and we were all given a list of NASA Hunch projects to choose from to work on for the duration class. Of the many choices we all were given, we were the only 4 that chose to work on the VR simulation project, which also happened to be the perfect size for 1 group. From there we set off working to make a working Virtual Reality simulation, portable to Oculus, that was able to showcase different physics tasks in environments of different levels of gravity.
Is NASA open to more designs than the traditional toroidal?
Is Unity an acceptable method of creating the simulation?
How high quality models are required?
Does NASA want an outside view of the ship?
What headset (Oculus Quest or Rift) does NASA prefer to be the most compatible with?
Is AR required?
Does 3m in width mean 3m walking space or 3m maximum?
