Soz Account and Data Deletion
This page explains how to request deletion of your Soz account and the data associated with it.
Delete Your Account in the Soz App
You can permanently delete your account directly in the Soz App.
To delete your account:
1. Open Soz.
2. Go to Profile.
3. Open Account.
4. Select Delete account.
5. Review the information and confirm the deletion.
Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
Request Deletion Without the App
If you have uninstalled Soz or no longer have access to the App, you can request account deletion by email.
Send your request to:
Use the subject line: Soz account deletion request
In your request, specify whether you signed in using Google or Apple and provide the email address associated with your Soz account.
If you used Sign in with Apple and selected Hide My Email, provide the Apple private relay email address associated with Soz, if available.
Do not send your Google or Apple password, authentication token, session token, payment-card details or other security credentials.
Identity Verification
For security purposes, I may need to verify that you are the owner of the account before processing a request submitted outside the App.
A deletion request will not be completed solely on the basis of an unverified email address if ownership of the account cannot be confirmed.
What Will Be Deleted
Deleting your Soz account will delete the following data associated with the account:
Your Soz account and profile information.
Your name and email address stored by Soz.
Your Google or Apple account identifier stored by Soz.
Your active authentication sessions.
Your learning progress and application settings stored on Soz servers.
Your cloud database backups and backup metadata.
After deletion, your account, cloud backups and synchronized learning progress cannot be recovered.
Data That May Be Retained
Limited information may be retained when required by applicable law or reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution or financial record-keeping.
Information retained for these purposes will be kept only for the required purpose and period.
Aggregated or anonymized information that can no longer reasonably be linked to your account may also be retained.
Information processed independently by Google, Apple, Microsoft, Meta, OpenAI or other service providers may be subject to their own retention and deletion policies.
Subscriptions and Purchases
Deleting your Soz account or uninstalling the App does not automatically cancel an active subscription.
You must cancel your subscription separately through the store where it was purchased.

Deleting your Soz account does not delete your Google or Apple account.
Processing Time
Deletion initiated and confirmed inside the Soz App is normally processed immediately.
Requests submitted by email will be reviewed and processed within 30 days after successful identity verification, unless a longer period is permitted or required by applicable law.
