The 2022 season will be Coach Bicker's 7th year as head coach at Plainfield South and his 22nd season coaching high school football overall. His record at South is 26-25 with playoff appearances in 2018 and '19, marking only the second time in school history the Cougars qualified for the playoffs in back-to-back seasons. Additionally the 2019 and 2020 teams were conference co-champions. Prior to coming to Plainfield South, Coach Bicker coached high school football at Wheaton North, West Chicago (where he was head coach for 2 years) York and Metea Valley. Coach Reames is entering his 10th year coaching football all at Plainfield South. He started out coaching two years at the freshmen level coaching both running backs and linebackers. From there he moved up to the varsity level to coach defensive backs for both the sophomore and varsity levels. He also helps out with coaching the special teams as well. He was selected to the IHSFCA All-State team in high school and went on to play college football at Millikin University.

Coach Vestal is entering his 8th year of coaching, with the 2022 season being his 5th at Plainfield South. While at Plainfield South, Coach Vestal has assisted with all levels of the football program. He currently assists Coach Carver with the varsity defensive line and is the sophomore defensive coordinator. Prior to coming to Plainfield South, Coach Vestal spent 3 seasons with the Lincoln-Way East Griffins coaching offensive line with both varsity and sophomore teams. He was a member of the staff that won the 2017 Class 8A State Championship. Before coaching, Vestal played 4 years at Joliet Central and started all 42 games of his career at Monmouth College. Scott has 17 years of coaching experience, 16 of those at South. He has coached at all 3 levels, serving as a varsity position coach and coordinator, as well as Head Coach at the freshmen and sophomore levels. He has experience coaching QB’s, RB’s, TE’s, Offensive and Defensive Line, and Linebackers. Scott is married with 3 children. He and his wife are graduates of Olivet Nazarene University, where Scott earned his Bachelor of Science in Secondary PE and Health Education.
