History

The South Park Township Public Library Teen Advisory Board (TAB) was established in September 2023. Since its creation, TAB members have played a vital role in shaping teen-focused programs and clubs, designing book displays in the Teen Area, and working on meaningful community service projects.

Purpose

TAB is whatever you want it to be! As a teen-led organization, members shape everything we do from planning creative programs and designing displays to organizing service projects and driving community initiatives. Members grow through hands-on experience, whether they’re exploring new ideas, contributing as creators, or mentoring as trailblazers. Meeting attendance counts as volunteer hours, giving teens a chance to build leadership skills while making a difference in South Park. If you're passionate about transforming the library into a space for teens and advocating for youth voices, we’d love for you to join us!
