Wall Ball Routine

Hitting the Wall is one of the best drills you can do to improve your stick skills. Make sure you practice with both your right and left hands. Connor Martin has some great wall ball tips in the video.

Ground Ball Drill

Ground balls win games. Practice the proper ground ball technique as seen in the video. Roll a ball out, pick up the ground ball, take a few steps while cradling, put the ball down and repeat. Start slow, and pick up speed as you improve.

Drive Up Drill

Do this drill with a partner. The Drive Up Drill addresses catching, throwing, changing hands, footwork, and communication.

Shooting ON The Run

  1. Keep feet moving, and rotate hips

  2. Shoot Overhand

  3. Finish with a full rotation

Fire Feet Jab Drill

Lacrosse players need excellent footwork. Good footwork will be a more effective dodger and a faster defender. Try this drill without your stick, then do it with your stick

The "Z" Drill

Another drill to improve dodging. Practice with your stick in both your right and left hands. You can also practice this drill as you switch hands.
