'My wife and I have completely loved our stay at Southdown. We have been roving around the UK in the past two weeks and this location has been our favourite by far. The accommodation is beautiful, so clean and with amazing panoramic views of the countryside and the sea. Our hosts Helen and Brian have been absolutely first class throughout our stay. They have given us advice re places to visit and have been so friendly, we felt at home as soon as we arrived here. The breakfast has been excellent with plenty of choice. We have loved it here and will without doubt be returning. Thankyou so much to both Helen and Brian for an excellent stay in this beautiful part of the country - Amazing 5*'

'I loved everything about this stay. Helen and Brian have real attention to detail and obvious love for hospitality. It can be tricky travelling alone, but they were amazing from check-in to check out and nothing was too much bother. The property itself was well kept and clean, very conveniently positioned just off the main road - this made exploring the area really easy. The room was lovely. Massive and comfortable bed, really lovely ensuite - so clean. I had been warned that the wifi was weak but it was absolutely fine for zoom calls and general work admin. There was a good TV with Freeview and plenty of tea, coffee and treats! Gorgeous view across the countryside to the sea - what more could you want? Oh yes, and Brian's full English breakfast was very very tasty (and hot which makes a change!). The breakfast selection was very generous, well catered for, and delicious! A fabulous place, run by fabulous people. '

Lovely warm shower to freshen up one's soul ready for sleepy land.
What a surprise awaited the 4 guests. Moss Rose, Royal Albert porcelain breakfast wares provided
the sense and essence of Englishness. English breakfast of local free range eggs, soft delicious black pudding,
delicious tomatoes etc, etc, etc. No one can ask for more. Thank you so much Helen and Brian on this
sunny and beautiful Autumn day.'
