** Your SatNav will take you to the area, but, some guests have found, not quite to our B&B if the postcode EX39 5SA is used. We don't have a street name. Follow your SatNav, and once you've turned onto the B3248 towards Hartland at Clovelly Cross, we are the first house on the left by the trees. *Look for the B&B signs* Turn left into the drive just before the house at the B&B signs**

If you don't have a SatNav:
From the Bideford (Devon) direction follow the A39 west towards Cornwall. Continue straight on at the A39 at Clovelly Cross roundabout (do not
turn right into Higher Clovelly village), then in a few yards turn right onto the B3248 signposted 'Hartland' (and there is a brown sign indicating, amongst other attractions, 'Hotel & B&B') on the sharp left-hand bend.
Southdown B&B is the first house on the left on the B3248 in 0.7 miles by the trees.
OR
From the Bude (Cornwall) direction follow the A39 north towards Devon. DON'T take the FIRST turning left signposted 'B3248 to Hartland' at Baxworthy Corner, but continue for 2 miles on the A39 until you see a SECOND turning left signposted 'B3248 to Hartland' on a sharp right-hand bend. Take that left turn onto the B3248 towards Hartland.
Southdown B&B is the first house on the left along the B3248, in 0.7 miles by the trees.
Turn into the drive just before the house and park in the Visitors parking area.
