Any student who participated in a Council Rock sport at CR South or Holland Middle School during the 2025–2026 school year and was cleared through the athletic department is already cleared to participate in May tryouts. Students who did not participate in a school sport during the current school year must complete the PIAA Section 6 form and submit a paper copy at tryouts.
If the PIAA Section 6 form is completed on or after May 1, 2026, it may be used once the ATS system opens and can count toward the required PIAA paperwork for the fall season, provided all additional requirements are completed over the summer. If the form was completed prior to May 1, 2026, it may be used for tryouts; however, students will be required to submit a new PIAA Section 6 form completed after May 1, 2026 when completing fall athletic paperwork over the summer.
Eligible Athlete:
Completed paperwork for Fall 2025 – Spring 2026 seasons/school year
Gets the PIAA Section 6 form completed on or after May 1st, 2026 (this then is valid for Fall 2025)
PIAA Section 6 forms completed from May 1st, 2025 – April 30th, 2026 (however not eligible to be used during Fall 2026 only eligible for tryouts)
Not Eligible:
No paperwork completed and wasn’t cleared for Fall 2025 – Spring 2026 seasons/school year
Missing PIAA Section 6 form
If bringing a copy of the PIAA Section 6 form to tryouts, please make sure to keep your own copy to upload onto ATS at a later date. Since cheer clinic/tryouts are completed in May prior to the official fall season the athletic department does not verify or check paperwork on ATS since it is considered out of season workouts, clinics, tryouts.
