2017 - Deus Ex Machina

2017’s Burning Man project was called “Deus Ex Machina”, affectionately nick-named “Gearotica”. The kinetic altar was housed in a structure made to look like an abandoned factory, where the Industrial Revolution has won and Man is no longer needed. Any offerings to change this fate were rejected (and the entire wooden structure burned.)
