The path ahead

Overall Career Plan:

I plan to continue to be highly involved in clinical education in the Internal Medicine & Pediatrics, categorical Pediatrics, and Internal Medicine residency programs and the College of Medicine. Future years at my institution will bring increased emphasis on quality and high-value care, addition of point-of-care ultrasound training to residents and faculty in our program, and continued dedication to clinical excellence and encouragement of lifelong learning.

My personal goal is to increase my ability to plan curricula for learners, and become more involved in objective evaluations of resident knowledge and clinical performance, leading to increased scholarly activities such as poster presentations, lectures, or publications in medical education. I hope to be able to identify a need among learners, and design a solution with measurable impact on my learners' performance.
