Mentoring/Advising

I have served as a faculty mentor for 4-6 Internal Medicine/Pediatrics residents per year since 2015.

My advisees have gone on to successfully match in fellowship, join academic Medicine/Pediatrics programs including one at my own institution, and go into careers as hospitalist or primary care.

As chair of the Clinical Competency Committee, I oversee all the faculty advisors, including assignment, reassignment, and following up issues brought up by events, evaluations, or concerns of others.

I am responsible writing and managing completion of Performance Improvement Plans for our Internal Medicine/Pediatrics residents.
