The Good, the Bad and the Ugly - 10/9/2021
Well, the name of the tournament lived up to its billing! And, God was it UGLY!
One player out of 41 guys managed to break 80. Congrats to Ryan Maries on the 78... damn good shooting with those conditions! A total of 3 players ended up in the 70's net so that pretty much summed up the day.
Flatirons Cup - 9/18 AND 9/19/2021
This was a two-day tournament at Coal Creek.
The purpose of the Flatirons Cup is to establish a tradition of camaraderie between clubs, competitive golf, and giving back to the community. The charity that will benefit from our donations is Boulder Voices for Children. (www.bouldervfc.org) This is a traveling tournament, and will be hosted by each club once every six years.

The Hombre - 2 man scramble - 8/28/2021
2 man team with similar handicaps to keep the competitive juices flowing. This is a Gross and Net event. The Net team scores were combined indexes with no greater than a 10 stroke difference and split in half then adjusted at 80%.

Heaven and Heck - 4 man scramble - 7/17/2021
For 2021 the format was for 9 holes of Heaven and 9 holes Heck, played the front 9 from the #5 tees and the back 9 from the Tips and instead of individual we will make it a scramble format.
Lobo Solitario (Lone Wolf) Stroke Play - 6/5/2021
Individual stroke play with Net payouts within flight. Flighted competition with flights assigned based on the mix of handicaps signed up. Everyone played from the 3 tees.
The Amigo - 2 man best ball 5/22/2021
A team net event with the max index differential of 10 strokes. (i.e. a 4.7 could partner with a 14.7 or lower otherwise if using a higher handicap they will be reduced to a 14.7) between team members. The strokes were based on the combined strokes of both golfers at 80% of handicap and divided in half. Details

Opening day! 4 man shamble 5/1/2021
Foursome teams with the following format - all 4 players tee off and one tee ball used for second shots. From there each player played in until hole completion and post each gross score. On par 3's, 3 scores used, on par 4's , best 2 scores used, and on par 5's best score used. All play from the #2 tee box. Handicaps at 80% for the net results.
