The Alachua County Public Library put together a reentry simulation for the public in order to shed the truth about how difficult it can be for a successful reentry after being released from incarceration. I met over Zoom with the coordinators of the event and made suggestions for a smooth event by using my past experience with reentry simulators in my corrections class. By attending the first session at the library, I was able to create suggestions for their next session in March in order to provide aid in areas I saw as room for improvement in my role as a participant in the reentry simulation.
