The Song Lab focuses on Adeno-associated virus (AAV) biology, AAV engineering, and AAV-based gene therapy. Its current research centers on advancing gene therapies for ocular diseases, using gene editing, gene addition, and gene modulation strategies, AAV vectors or lipid nanoparticle (LNP) delivery systems.
Highly motivated undergraduate students, graduate students and postdoctoral fellows interested in training in gene therapy, vision science and adeno-associated viral vectors-related research are encouraged to apply for open positions.
