A former refugee herself, Sofia brings invaluable firsthand experience to her leadership. Her journey has shaped her passion for empowering individuals and families through cultural preservation, education, and community support.

Deko Harbi, Co-Founder and Treasurer, is essential to our organization’s growth and sustainability. She oversees financial logistics, secures grants, and manages funding to support our mission. Her strategic approach and commitment ensure we have the resources to empower and uplift our community. 

Ahmed Hassan, Co-Founder and Executive Director, is a passionate advocate for change and a pillar of our community. Known for organizing rallies for justice and amplifying community voices, Ahmed works tirelessly to address systemic injustices.
