Bridge Builders: Community Relations Team
Objective: To build and maintain strong connections between the unhoused community and LeaKC, ensuring their voices are heard and considered in all initiatives.
Key Activities:
Outreach: Engage with the community through various outreach activities to gather feedback and foster relationships.
Active Engagement: Participate in community activities and events to maintain a visible and active presence.
Information Gathering: Conduct surveys and other data collection methods to gathering information from unhoused individuals.
Table Turners: Committee Involvement Team
Objective: To ensure that individuals with lived experience have a seat at the table in key decision-making committees and advisory groups.

Objective: To influence and develop policies that impact the unhoused community, ensuring they reflect the lived experiences of those affected.
Key Activities:
Local Government Policy: Advocate for city and county-level policies that support the needs of the unhoused community.
CoC Policy: Develop and influence Continuum of Care policies.
Agency Policy: Work with agencies to develop policies that are inclusive and supportive of the unhoused.
Groundbreakers: Project Implementation Team
Objective: To create, establish, and/or oversee the implementation of projects that directly benefit the unhoused community, ensuring they are effective and responsive to their needs.
Key Activities:
Laundry Services: Implement and manage laundry service projects for the unhoused.
Trash Collection: Develop and oversee trash collection initiatives to maintain clean and healthy living environments.
Education: Promote and facilitate educational opportunities for the unhoused community.
