This page is for things your character could have heard about the Edict and their members (and related characters) beforehand - and use this to approach them!
Members of the Edict could be recognised by them having Meridian Roses
They are made of resilient brass and thoroughly infused with a stable & encrypted Arcane signature. Its edges are filigreed into the shape of a compass star, framing an embossed set of brass panels that form a stylised and conjoined "M" and "E", which themselves resemble a vulpine visage.

However, some of members prefer to keep them hidden, check their character TRP3 profile if that's the case for them!
Also, please keep in mind that while some alt characters are in the in-game guild, that does not mean they are in-characterly part of the Edict. Please remember to check their TRP's!
The following poster can be seen on noticeboards at most major settlements all across Azeroth - from places like Orgrimmar, Stormwind, Booty Bay - to even some smaller towns and cities
Your character will have very likely seen this poster around, and if its message speaks to them - they may seek out the Meridian Edict across the world of Azeroth, to join their goals and adventures.
Should your character wish to act on this poster, they could search for the Edict in places they frequent like Booty Bay, or perhaps come visit the Solstice Bazaar!
Below is a list of rumours your character could have heard about the Edict and their members - even if they don't really know them!
New rumours will appear in the future - and some of them might be changed or removed when they are no longer important. Stay tuned!
The Solstice Bazaar is a shop-front owned by the Meridian Edict, where their Artisans sell their hand crafted wares and goods - as well as goods of various freelance suppliers who are not part of the Edict. It was originally established in the weekly Dalaran markets, and was well known there, before the city itself fell - leaving the Bazaar to open in Dawn Blossom and Booty Bay.
On the coast of Stranglethorn lies the goblin town of Booty Bay, a somewhat lawless place of pirates - and the playground of some members of the Meridian Edict. Members are often seen enjoying their time off there, and even more often seen getting up to bizarre situations. Maybe you've heard a rumour of a drunken night out gone crazy?
The Solstice Bazaar is searching for a home for several large dogs, well trained in guarding and protection, who were rescued following a fateful encounter with their previous owner - perhaps your character could be the one to take care of them?

A young mag'har orc blademaster could often be noticed around the Edict members. While not officially the part of the Meridian Edict or Solstice Bazaar, he often offers bone carving services.
Is there any reason he lingers around the members of the Edict specially?

Those native or frequent to Pandaria may be familiar with "Stillheart Lager" - a brew produced in one of the smaller Kun Lai villages. The bottles and barrels with this brew carry the symbol of snow lily with the mountain at the background.
It isn't as famous as many other Pandaren brews and is rarely seen outside Kun Lai - other than at the Solstice Bazaar, sold to those who pass a moral test of character.

Your character could have heard about renowned (in certain circles) explorer Nynoliel Besso'Belorei - kaldorei who who researches people and cultures outside kaldorei lands, and publishes his works in libraries across Azeroth - even if he has a rather blase attitude about promoting or making them known.
Would the Edict know anything about him? They are group researching & preserving other cultures, after all...

Deep in the forests of Duskwood, there once was what would be a rather unassuming doctor's clinic north of Ravenhill - one that was owned by a woman of the name Doctor Anastasia Moroi, a darkfallen who has garnered a reputation in the area for offering her healing sevices for free... as long as her patient will enact favours on her behalf. Rumours about her were likely to reach the ears of people who lived in or visited Duskwood, about how she seems to lure injured people into an unending debt... until they disappeared.
The Meridian Edict have become known foes of the Doctor, and trying to put an end to her practices. However, it appears as of recently, the clinic is now a charred remnant of torn apart wood - as if a tornado had torn it apart - and the Doctor herself remains missing...

Years ago, a terrible murder had happened in Silvermoon, a young girl named Seraryn Roseclaw - found murdered in her own home, in a brutal stabbing, with all the gold to her name stolen. While there had been several suspects to the case murmured around Quel'thalas, the presumed killer had never been caught - until as of a few months ago, the Meridian Edict claimed the bounty on him.
Characters who were in Silvermoon at the time may have heard about the shocking murder, and characters who live in Silvermoon more recently may have heard that the case had finally been solved by the Meridian Edict.

Years ago, Nynoliel Bessa'Belorei has published a book, where he has mentioned taunka tribe, who were in contact with non-Scourge friendly nerubians. However, he couldn't find anything related to that - but the rumours say that Meridian Edict went further in that to unravel that mystery?
