Eric Farragher's CLIFTON AND LOWTHER in N scale with sweeping curves, scale length trains, lovely scenery and working road vehicles running down the entire length of the layout.
Edwin George's DERWENT HAEMATITE was the first model railway he had exhibited. Based on the former Workington Iron and Steel Company Moss Bay works in more recent (British Steel) times, the layout portrayed a location on the plant that was instantly recogniseable and profoundly nostalgic for many local modellers and visitors to the exhibition. 4mm scale OO gauge, Analogue DC.
Nicely presented with a genuine British Steel banner draped down the front.
Visitor and local modeller, Graham Clark , concentrates on putting on a good show, running the layout.
Regular exhibitor Graham Morfoot from Spalding brought his narrow gauge BEN MOOR FOOT PEAT railway portraying activities in a Fenland peat production facility. O16.5mm scale is O scale (7mm / ft.) models running on 16.5mm gauge, OO gauge track.
