Allan Grey's St. George's Pit portrays a typical North Eastern Colliery. Allan is a master modeller. The majority of his models are scratchbuilt and take many hours to make. "Every expense spared" is his guiding principle in the pursuit of fidelity.

Andy Butler's COULDERTON 4mm scale layout has been a regular exhibitor a Workington. Every year, Andy employs the same basic configuration but changes the rolling stock and some strategic buildings and details. It is a very successful formula, allowing a wide variety of scenarios to be explored, while the proven main layout features offer consistent and reliable performance. All Andy's models feature the latest Digital Command Control sound decoders with custom made sound files in many cases.
