Having always worked in early stage companies, Marc Friedmann has been an entrepreneur for the past 40 years. He has founded, built, financed, turned around and exited multiple start-up companies. Combining strengths in business and technology, Friedmann has deep experience in software, telecom, datacom, storage and semiconductor industries. Concentrating on software companies for the past 20 years, he has managed all types and aspects of businesses including SAAS, analytics, IT management, corporate strategy and funding, and product positioning, management and development processes.

Having raised several rounds of angel, venture and strategic funding, Prisa had a successful exit through acquisition by EMC Corporation. Previous to Prisa, Friedmann was Vice President of Network Products at Applied Micro Circuits Corp (AMCC) where he established the line of business that led to the company's successful IPO.
